My dad saves everything. Including negatives of all his photos. He has never claimed to be a photographer, but I spent that last few weeks scanning in over 400 negatives spanning over 4 decades and have came across some real keepers.
Photo credit goes to my dad. He shot this in 1974 or 75 with his old 35mm Canon. That's me pulling my brother in a wagon purchased by my grandfather in 1937. We are wearing my grandfathers hats. This wagon is still in the family and yes the lights do work.

Your photo is exactly why I shoot the way that I do! FANTASTIC capture. This photo exemplifies the ideals of "family photojournalism". It is as authentic as it gets! It's not you dressed up in some field being what the photographer wants you to be. This is you being a child...in your neighborhood...with your first best friend in the world...have a great time. This sweet moment cannot be duplicated...it belongs to you and your brother. Undoubtedly, this is a treasure for you!? My guess is you'll have this printed, matted and framed.
This post excites me more than almost any other post on this forum! Please post more!
