I've been putting together a filter kit for landscape photography and have a few questions on filters.
I finally got my Lee 100x100 Foundation Kit and 77mm WA adapter. Still waiting for the 82mm adapter.
Also have the Lee Bigstopper and Singh-Ray GND 3-stop soft.
I need advice on what to add and which manufacturer/model are the best.
I'm looking for an additional GND, a couple solid ND, and maybe a couple color enhancers.
I want neutral color for the solid ND and probably in a 3-stop and 6-stop.
Maybe a Schneider ND .9 and 1.8? Is Lee or Singh-Ray better (more neutral).
Maybe a Lee Coral filter? Or Sepia or yellow?
I primarily shoot everything from beaches, mountains, deserts to forests.
if you are going for Schneider glass filters you will need to modify your Lee holder. with deeper slots and a screw to hold them in place. I have that setup and got the requisite components from the filter connection www.2filter.com. I advise you call them as they sorta keep them in a drawer in the back. the Schneider glass filters are nice chunks of windowpane.
