I have scheduled my first engagement session tomorrow morning and I was hoping for some last minute advise/suggestions. I also wanted to know if using only the 14-24 2.8 and 85 1.8g only would be too bold and/or challenging or should I play it safe with the 24-70 and maybe the 70-200?
I'd take it all, but pretty much leave the 70-200 on unless something really caught my eye. The last thing you want to be doing is fumbling with lenses and settings
You only need the 24-70, 85 and 70-200. The 14 will most likely be too wide. Also, with two people, there won't be "much" need to shoot below 2.8. The 85 will allow you to get creative below 2.8, but not by much. The 24 through 200 will most likely get the job done.
