It is a photographers dream to shoot here for sure.
Seems like you have got two different composition of the same area.
I prefer the first one, there is quite a bit more in that picture

It would be a dream if we could actually walk inside these places and get better compositions.

he gives 3-day classes there and has access to the inside of some of the buildings.
we took a class from him about 3 or 4 years ago. he knows Bodie up one side and down the other; in addition to being a wealth of info, he is an excellent teacher and photographer.

Nice imaging, Charles. The first and last images are about the same ones.
To add to the conversation here, I did a three day workshop there that gave me access to all the interiors I could possibly shoot in that time frame. It wasn't really a 'workshop' and I don't need one, but it was access that I was buying. If you're interested to see more interiors, I have a Bodie gallery on my website.
