I'm guessing the second image, and I have no idea. Just a crop on a very big saguaro as far as I'm concerned. Thanks for posting.

Thanks Chris. The POV was necessary to keep the traffic passing by on the road 50 yds away from showing in the picture.

Thanks for the different view of the first image, Tim. Is that a desert redwood?

(or are you just not going to tell us what it is?

).
Also a nice take on the saguaro. I'm always so taken with their overall magnificence that I seldom think of a close-up shot- but this one sure works.
