Along the road to Maligne Lake in late autumn.
The snow flies. The lake level begins to drop to its underground-river winter condition. The surface water begins the freeze. Winter is nigh.
Time for a few quick pics and then head for Oregon.
Color slide scanned and converted.

I only use zooms (24-70mm and 70-210mm). I was probably standing near the lake outlet, judging from the perspective, so this was likely my Vivitar Series-1 70-210mm zoom set about mid-range.
