Luckily, although looking through my mirrors frequently (half the good views are behind you), I didn't drive into the lake .
But I DID see this. The light was pretty good, so I waited until interesting pieces of that fascinating mountain ridge were lit to my liking, and I clicked away my old film camera.

For many years I worked summers in Alaska- driving up the Alcan in late spring, and down in the autumn.
The southern trip usually included a several-day camping stopover in the Banff/Jasper area.
This image was taken on one of those trips- probably about 15 years ago.
