Hello All,

some pics from my recent trip to Zion NP.

1. I tilted the camera because I found the lines on this mountain interesting.

3. This one I purposely made the foreground black to get the silhouette lines. I wanted the sun lit portions to be craddled between the 2 dark shadows. This might not be everyone's cup of tea and definitely not the dynamic range crazies :P

Jason,
A very strong set.
I normally don't like B&W landscapes, but you bloody nailed it!
#2 is a standout to me, I would be happy to put that on my wall!

Jason,
I agree with Ilya- a very strong set.
I was trying to imagine where the hell you took #1 and then I read your explanation. Whew

. As often as I've been to Zion, I'd never seen anything like that kind of erosion.
Alas, by the time I realized I wanted to hike to the top of Angel's Landing, I was too decrepit to do so. I love your interpretation from that grand view spot.

On my hike up Angels Landing, I did meet a 92yr old grand mother that made it all the way! Of course her grandson was holding on to her

I like 1, 2, and 4.
The shadows are too blocked up on #3 for me.
Nice set overall though!
