p.1 #1 · Micro focus with teleconverters

So I did the micro adjustment with mt 7D and my 500 f4 IS. Can you do same thing with my 1.4 and 2.0 TC's? How would the camera know if the TC had the 500 or my 70-200 attached?

I have done this with the 7D and 70-200 w/1.4 and it works fine. It just creates another entry.

As long as it is a Canon communicating TC it recognizes the TC lens combo. There are electronics in the TC's that communicate back to the camera.
Lens
Lens + 1.4
Lens +2.0
all will show up differently. I don't know what happens if you stack convertors though?
