| p.1 #1 · A Masked hunter that wants it all! | |
I think it's a masked hunter (Reduvius personatus?) but this is my first time seeing one with not just dirt/debris on its body. Many of them too on a tree trunk but this one takes the cake - moss, ant carcasses, dirt/debris, you name it - this masked hunter(?) has it all . Oh, I forget to mention the roach ootheca! Reminds me of Acanthaspis petax with just ant carcasses but no dirt/debris on the abdomen. But this could be an Acanthaspis too? Not sure. Anyone can shed light on this?
Dirt/debris, ant carcasses, moss, and an empty roach ootheca...
