All that ink is a shame, but I'm glad she's not afraid to smile. So many of these types of shots have that same faux sultry look.

Side note -
I, too, used to not dig the tats. Something has hit at middle age, however. I'm beginning to like 'em! Go figger!

Nice series. Good to see she was enjoying herself too.
One small thing I noticed is on the lower left shot in that first 4 shot cluster, the curtain behind her that shows between her thighs at first glance looks like a dreaded 'string' hanging down. A little burn there wouldn't hurt.

@paneraica: she gave a lot of creative control to the artist who did that one, but I agree, it does draw a lot of attention in the photos.

I think we need Steadman to start a 50 gabillion page debate on why people feel the need to constantly comment on the appearance of a tattoo'd woman, rather than actually commenting on the photography...

that said..

these are great. I love seeing the fun side of these shoots rather than image after image of the "come hither" look. The last image is my favorite... shooting it through the glass gives it a voyeur feel.

Nice set overall.

I found the first pair of shots "busy", with the picture and lamp in the background. Even the 2nd pair of shots has issues with background clutter down low.

3rd shot (or 5th ? Not to late to number these) is a nice figure view and a lot 'cleaner' than the previous. There is still something behind her head in that one.

4th I like this one too. Good use of the doorway to lessen the tats and keep us looking at her face and figure. Often the near shoulder will look larger than it should. You controlled that with the doorway.

Last shot. Interesting use of the reflections. Gives a candid feel.

Good expressions from your model throughout this set. Nice job.

And whether I like tats or not doesn't matter to what's important - the photography.

beautiful smile. However, I too don't understand the tats. Women have spent thousands of dollars trying to have beautiful skin but now they spend thousands to make a statement that they won't remember as long as the tats last.
