No wonder why i had been to New Zealand before and loved it the most, i hope to visit there again in the future, and i hope to have amazing fantastic shots as yours.
Amazing shots christian. Great composition. Love the first shot! I'm guessing small aperture (f16 or so) on a tripod to get that starburst? I'd be curious to know what sort of post-processing you did to achieve that final look. Excellent shots overall though! Great job!
thanks, used F22, yes definitely on a tripod. I only shoot without one if I'm taking street or travel shots.
most of my exposure and color is done within my cam, using the right filters with the least or (no) amount of color cast, white balance settings, picture style, etc... getting the healthiest possible histogram on the shot as I never really on the LCD for exposure, only for zooming in on sharpness and to check for camera shake. I open using ACR and check for further corrections on color, exposure, shadows and highlights, then bring it to PS for sharpening and resizing. (more steps and processes or so... if I want to get a bit artsy, but I prefer a straightforward processed landscape.)
