Vladi, very nice set as others have mentioned. I guess everyone has their own opinions and interpretations. The whiteness and pose of the model on #3 makes her look like she was carved our of stone by Michelangelo, cool shot.

I guess Hooligan is not a fan of this type of photography but many street photographers such as Alex Webb, Costa Manos, Jean Gaumy and countless others really like to chop off heads and bodies. What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas ... I was trying out focus peaking with my newly acquired EVF, seem to work quite well, and yes, chopping of the head here was intentional.

Wayne, the lady in the sunglasses is actually Anne Wintour, the editor-in-chief of Vogue, who inspired Meryl Streep's character in Devil Wears Prada. She's very influential in these circles, needless to say. Very cold, very detached and intimidating - if you let her.

ha, i was wondering. thought that looked like a film slr (dslrs aren't that small).

Vladi, thanks for the info on the fashion moguls in the shot. Very interesting. Haven't seen Devil Wears Prada but Pret A Porter was a good comedy which poked fun at this fashion world.
Joe, nice portrait of the female body!

Very nice Ron! How difficult was it to set the focus? I noticed in at least one of your other RX1 northern lights shots in your Flickr stream that the focus was quite off.. Am I right that the RX1 doesn't have an infinity hard stop?

Thanks everyone for the complements on the aurora shots! Yes. It's true the rx-1 doesn't have a hard stop for Infinity. If I were to do it again I would focus during the daylight in manual and tape the lens. But it wasn't that difficult at night. There is a digital focus scale that pops up. I was just too cold to be neurotic about my picture taking, and half the time when the lights were so good I was trying to soak it up.

Charles and jojomon. I think rx-1 is the perfect food camera as u demonstrated.
