So if I buy this new version for almost 3k I will be able to shoot gooder photos ?
well for the people who bought it and know how to use it well (this thread being full of examples of such people) I'm sure it'll shoot better photos than any other full frame compact with a (zeiss) 35mm lens.
For me it was the camera I brought everywhere and had a lot of fun with...until I sold it. And when I look at the photos in this thread I do regret it. And for the people who purchased it new, or at a high price, sure there's some semblance of buyer's remorse somewhere (i felt it, sold the camera and re-purchased another used) but undoubtedly a gem of a camera..
Helena, I haven't been following you lately, but I do recall you (still) having your doubts over your RX1 and using the Ricoh GR for a span of time. Do you still have the Ricoh? I convinced my sister to get one, again because an FM thread (the GR one) did a great job advertising camera gear. I think all my purchases stem from something or someone in this forum. It's a lovely little camera.

Before I sold this camera i actually shot it with auto-iso set at max 25600. Now that I look at some of the pictures on my computer they are noisier than I imagined them to be. But still such a fun camera to bring wherever I went.
