I like the first image. Weird light tho. Sorry but I couldn't help but wonder what it would look like with a dark blue sky.

I like it better with a tighter crop and the left leaf/twig removed. Just my two cents worth.

Camperjim, that's an unusual sky

It might be just a little over the top for my style.

The original image was shot while I was down on the beach shooting seagulls. I turned around to a beautiful site of the morning sun glowing through the fog and the tree branches. It was truly beautiful in person, not sure I captured what I really saw.

Bert, I can see that vision, it seems to better balance the image.

EDIT: Did a quick re-work using your suggestion for a tighter crop and removed the extraneous branches on the right.
