Well, I tried to have slow speed and a clear image:

50mm f1.4 1/30sec ISO800
I think it is a little blurry, but I believe it is still a nice picture. Am I wrong?
What about the shadows? Too light?

Seems to be a bit soft, but I think that adds to the photo. I like it.

Can't tell for sure at this size, but the left (her right) eye seems sharp. At f1.4, the dof is pretty thin. Selective focus and B&W are legitimate styles so in that respect this works.

These images work because the subject is so dern cute. I like the lighting too.

I quite like the expression and capture. You might consider cropping a bit from the top, some retouching, some sharpening, and adding some vignette:

Thank you everyone for the comments and the compliments (very appreciated since she is my daughter )

Auntipode, may I ask you how you sharpened the picture without increasing the noise? I normally use highpass, but in this case it wouldn't work because of the noise.

Can't wait for the solstice, winter (no)light is depressing and frustrating ;(

Thank you all.

I used Smart Sharpen at 70% amount and 0.2 pixels. Then I applied a small amount of Topaz DeNoise5 filter and then faded the filter to 50%. Makes a nice compromise between noise and softness.
