I think this is the common Cockchafer (May Bug) larva (Scarabaeidae Melolontha). Find this larva in rotten wood.

The habitat is wrong for "May Bug".

Maybe Rhinoceros Beetle?

@e6filmuser, You were right - this is the larva of Dorcus parallelipipedus (Lucanidae) beetle, I'm pretty sure since I found this bug (dead one) nearly the same rotten wood.

I suspect it is not D. parallelipipedus but another Dorcus species but I have to leave it there.
