Nice portraits. It looks like your ponds are full of gunk like the ones around here at this time of year. The ducks don't seem to mind, or maybe we just can't read their expressions well enough.

Thanks Mark! Yeah with all the leaves and pine straw things are pretty messy around here, and as you said they do not seem to mind.
great detail and the reflection in the second is a nice addition

, Thanks Eric! They do like they were posing! Like I said they were not afraid of me at all. Well...the female kept her eye on me but the male could have cared less.

The male was hard to get in a good position. He did not mind me being there but he would not work with me. He kept staying around the reeds and rocks and it was hard to get a good clear shot of him without something in the way.
