Wow, simply stunning shots of a hummingbird! Beautiful colouring under the chin and lovel;y and sharp.
It is rare you get to see a hummingbird at rest.
Thanks for the kind words Lance.

A very nice set with great sharpness, but they all appear to be slightly underexposed on my monitor ~ Ron
Thanks Ron, it does look a bit underexposed, my bad. I usually check the results after I load my pics in Flickt, this time I was a bit too tired already.

Good morning Jodelak,
Your photos are "super"! The Anna's are so pretty. I would love to capture all the different kinds of hummers!
I love when I see my Ruby-Throated on a twig just sitting so quietly.
My favorite is number 9 when he is all fluffed up.. So cute!
Thanks for sharing!
Good evening BeeBalm, I'm glad you enjoyed this series.

Lovely set. Great perch on the last group (and I like these the best overall too), with just a bit of green to help break up the grey.
Thanks Ken, those were from the 2nd set and it was really pouring rain when I took those pics. I wrapped my gear with heavy plastic and then covered it with a mossy oak blind that's why the anna's did not mind me at all

Very well done Jodelak!! These can be a blast to shoot when they get to stretching and preening. Looks like you had a lot of fun photographing this fabulous set
Tim
Its a lot of fun, but it was damn so cold also (2nd set was raining very hard). I was hoping that the anna's will perch on a branch that is under the rain so I can get some water action also Thanks for looking and appreciating this series Tim

Hummingbirds are fun to shoot. I have since 2007. I am impressed with your high ISO slow shutter speeds HUMMERS. The last 8 or so are underexposed for my personal taste. An ISO of 3200 probably would have yielded optimal SS for the
last 8 or so. Keep posting your hummers!
Thanks Ted, I do agree that the last 8 was underexpose. Its actually a weakness of mine, hopefully I can perfect it soon .
