Soon I will be leaving Louisville Ky and heading to New Mexico to Bosque Del Apache, then ill make my way up to the grand canyon, then the wave/horshoe bend/ slot canyons, then i am heading into utah for arches national park and maybe up thru colorado to rocky mountain np...looking for good birding/wildlife/landscapes adventures along the way...so if you know any feel free to post or PM me.
I did a tour of several national parks in early January and they were all great but you shouldn't miss Dead Horse Point State Park if you have the time. It is very close to Arches and the view at sunrise is awesome. It overlooks the Colorado and you can see into Canyonlands.
