Here are three images of Whooping Cranes that passed nearly directly over me at Quivira NWR on 8 November. Three cranes lifted off their roost around 10:30am and made a beeline right for us, so I scrambled to get into BIF mode to get these images. Thanks for looking!

Thanks a lot Kirk, we sure get a lot of Sandies on here (which I LOVE to photograph by the way, and I'll probably post soon from this same shoot). I really feel privileged to have been in their presence.
