p.1 #1 · Quick control dial 5DIII

Finally got a 5DMarkIII. I've got most things working as I want but the Quick Control Dial has be baffled.
When unlocked the Quick Control Dial only changes ISO. I'm trying to get Exposure comp. working but no luck. I must have set up something incorrectly but I'm not sure what.
Help!

1. go to menu->custom function2 -> custom controls.

2. navigate to the QCD icon, hit set

3. scroll to Av instead of ISO.

Oh, and to set ISO quickly use the same procedure above to change the SET button to be ISO; you have to hold down the set button while scrolling the main dial to change ISO but its pretty convenient

It should work in Av too.

EDIT: I have mine set up so the main dial is always aperture and QCD dial is shutter speed; in your case you probably want the QCD dial to be Av

Custom Fn2...don't see a QCD icon. I see 10 options on the screen but not "QCD".
Quick Control Dial only changes ISO in Manual too.

Main dial Aperture and Quick Control Shutter is how I've aways set my Canon up so help getting to that configuration would be great.

The qcd icon is the wheel on the lower right (second from bottom, between main dial and joystick). I set that to the Tv, and the main dial to Av. I also set the dial direction in backwards, so in Av and Manual you turn both dials clockwise to increase brightness and counterclockwise to make it darker
