This is a very competitive region, but this school had another great year in football:
Freshman team... undefeated.
JV team... undefeated.
Varsity team... undefeated.
Clarence,
Nice capture, sharp, good color and action. If I were the parent the scoreboard shot you go would be a sure buy.
Being that so many of us are viewing the Sports Corner on our Tablets these days, we can't see the exif. If willing maybe you can share the basic settings, and help establish this as best practice for or Corner here?
Clarence....looks like you have these dialed in quite well. Great looking shots. You controlled the shadows quite well. The QB shots are great and I also like 2, 12 & 14. Did he catch it in #12.

The files lose EXIF when I add the watermark/caption in PSP. But they're 1D Mk4, 280mm, f/2.8, 1/1000", ISO 3200.
I use 3 speedlites with ETTL mounted at the bottom of my monopod. This season I've been using high ISO with PW hypersync (optimized HSS). I like the ambient better than the dark backgrounds from shooting at xsync.

Unfortunately, no. And focus was on the ball, not the receiver's eyes, but I liked the shot anyways.
When you're shooting Hypersync with the PW Flex, what SS are you attaining? Also, is the flash output based on TTL or do you have to set the flash output manually? Am I making any sense?

As mentioned above, I used a SS of 1/1000" on all of these.
With the old PW ControlTL firmware I used to be able to get optimized xsync (full power without pulsing) of 1/500" clean and maybe 10% shutter curtain at 1/640". But with the current versions I can only get clean 1/400" with shutter curtain at 1/500".
So I take the hit and use pulsing. But Hypersync pulsing is 1.68 stops better than Canon HSS. The 2nd speedlite also gives me an extra stop (double the light power). The 3rd speedlite adds a little more just for good measure.

As mentioned above, I'm using ETTL. I've tried adjusting flash power manually based on subject distance, and I've tried dynamically adjusting aperture to control light power. ETTL is orders of magnitude smarter and more efficient than I am.
As others have mentioned already, the deft mixing of flash with ambient is excellent. Stellar work here. Easily the best flashed football images I have ever seen.
