This lens takes great photos but has some cosmetic issues to disclose. Priced accordingly.
1) There is a small surface scratch near the perimeter of the front element. Besides that glass is flawless. As it is near the edge and very small, I have seen zero effect on performance.
2) the built-in hood has been chipped on one side.
3) the front cap cracked while in a bag when not on the camera, so I glued it back together. It doesn't fit as tight as it used to, but still stays on there.
