Overall we had a great time, My eldest son took a few photos of me and he had a ball...Marley posed her heart out by herself and Jethro was happy feeding from his mother.
I would agree with your choice of favourite - it's a great shot. Your daughter has a good smile when it comes out and it's a shame it didn't in the first. surroundings in the first are awesome though and I love the light. Did you use flash on that one? or a reflector?

Hey Mate
Thanks for taking the time to look.
It was difficult at times to get the kids to co-operate.
All shots had an Nikon speedlight shot through a softbox.
It's a standard setup for me and love using it.

Fantastic! Thank you for sharing these! Aside from the awesome scence could you share tips? Thank you!
I think picking a good place helps, These were shot late in the day so the light was soft.
I use manual mode on the camera and use the speedlight off-camera.
I usually have it set to 1/16 to //32 depending on how many people are in the shot. It's shot though a lastolite softbox, it gives me great results.
Usually i'm at about f4-5.6 and 1/160s and from there i just adjust things as needed, I raise iso if i need just a bit more light.

Love 4. The quality of light is so good that it almost looks like it was shot in a studio on a film set. It has a very surreal feel to it. Awesome.
Thanks mate
I have 4 ordered on a good sized canvas and can't wait to see it...The light was almost perfect, a minute or two earlier it was even better...I was setting up with my young daughter as my wife fed our youngest and you can see it getting better and better..had to yell out to stop the feeding to get the shot.
Regards
Bud

4th one is my favorite by far! Great work!
and ps : Why is the one your wife took the only one without some editing? It seems to have a colder tone and has less color than the others.
Thanks for taking the time to look
Not sure what happened with that one...I edited them all similar and that shot received the same edit. It certainly looks a lot cooler...Thanks for pointing that out.

Great work. I don't use off camera lighting, but after seeing these shots, I may have to rethink this.

Bob,
Once you get the hang of it it's rather easy and does give wonderful results. I use a cheap set of triggers i purchased off ebay and a nikon sb900 which is probably overkill as i shoot in manual mode. A cheap all manual flash for this sort of work would be better maybe.
