p.1 #1 · Locate Serial Number

I have a 500 F4 II covered with camoflage. Before I rip it all off, where is the Serial Number located? I feel kind of stupid asking this.

I can't remember for sure but it's either on the end of the lens (mount) or on the side on the lens near the mount. Just pull the narrow end of the lens cover back a little and you should see it. If not it's on the mount and may be black on black so look closely.
