More shots...
Canon 5D Mk III, EF 200/2.8 L and 1.4 Mk II
Unfortunately I am guilty of not having sufficient familiarity with controlling the selected AF points (thought I was), so I lost many shots. Casey Stoner was generally too fast approaching Turn 3 at about 270 kph (newly named Stoner Corner) for me to get a decent pan, especially as I was sitting in a grandstand seat most of the time.
Casey, powersliding at about 270kph through Turn 3, in qualifying AFTER his Turn 4 crash!
Luca Amato, Moto 3 qualifying, Turn 3
Jakub Kornfell, Moto 3 qualifying, Turn 3
Australian Arthur Sissis, race picture - he finished a career-best 3rd in Moto 3

Great job! Glad to see the shots honoring the late Marco Simoncelli. What a shame, that young man had such a promising career ahead of him. No Rossi?!?!?! JK

Thanks guys. I agree about the tributes to Marco - he was the best thing to happen to world class motorcycle racing since Valentino Rossi, and a more down to earth person by accounts.
Here's a picture of him from last year, merely one week before he lost his life in Malaysia.
