p.1 #1 · p.1 #1 · My 70-200 II and 24-70 II test

Traded for a 24-70 II about a week ago and finally put it on a camera today. I wanted to take a test shot to see if it worked but wasn't feeling well so I took a couple of shots of one of our kitties.

First two are with 5DIII, 6400 ISO. Second two are with the 24-70 II..

Newbie question, how are you reading the exif data from your browser, I've not thought about viewing the addition data; not displayed? Thanks, Jerry...

Wouldn't a better comparison be at 70mm f/2.8? Thats the only commonality between the lenses.

lots of variables to consider in this comparison as well. Were these handheld? 200mm vs 70mm you have to hold the camera more steady, even with IS.

When I try to shoot a straight on picture of the Lion, he runs as though he's seen a ghost or something! Your cat looks like it's posing for the shot..
