Someone observed a snowy owl in Boundary Bay, B.C. and there was another observation of one in Chilliwack. Anyone from Calif/Oregon/Washington thinking of driving up?

I had an opportunity to get a look at the one seen near Chilliwack and was able to get a quick capture.
Not much time for creativity as the Snowy was along side the freeway with a narrow shoulder.
Another one was found in the same general area of Chilliwack as well.
If this is the start of another big year I think I will boycott the crowds and seek out individuals in remote locations...
Delta should put a leash law in place temporarily if the Snowys come back to Boundary Bay. I saw dogs running along the path and spooked more owls than any photographers ever did. But, I do agree that there was no excuse to those who tried to flush the owls for flight shots.
