Two beauties Eric. I see a bit of a blueish cast on the roller shot, but then it may just be these old eyes.

You said you couldn't get decent BIFs except for the occasional lucky shot of a giant bird. Liar, liar- pants on fire

. That's an excellent image of the lilac breasted roller!
And the bird itself is a real beauty.

All comments are much appreciated...I really could have used Tim's 800 or Conrad's 600 and tc....but after years of trying, finally getting a decent roller in flight was pretty cool. Their colors in flight are almost unreal.

Great catch on the lilac breasted roller -- that definitely is not a big bird, and not easy to nail like that. Cool!
