Let's sell this lens a bit. I keep hearing debates about it being second to the 85L...

Show me your portraits or favorite pictures from this jewel of a lens.

I start with this one, technically flawed as one eye is not in focus and editing could be better but...hey! I'm proud I used the lens to take a picture of my daughter.

See below.

This is probably my favorite portrait that I've taken with the 135L, the bokeh is as creamy smooth as it gets, but on a crop sensor, this lens is quite long. Since I've gotten the 85mm f/1.8, I've found that I've enjoyed that focal length much more on a crop. Also, I can only imagine how well this lens is on a FF.

It's a wonderful lens!! Full review here if you want to zoom in on some high res samples. Not sure if the Zoomit links would work here?

Pretty sure this is wide open (95% of my 135 shots are). It focuses quick enough on my 5Dc- lets see the 85L do that.

High ISO 5D shot hand held wide open in a dark room. The 85L would probably let me shoot at a lower iso but the 135 is very capable.

I use to think the focal length was awkward (I was accustomed to shooting 90mm portraits), but after a bit of practice I like the added reach. The accurate quick focusing (center point) is a huge plus.

Wow! Great stuff, and Breitling you've outdone yourself with that shoot. Excellent!

I know you guys have seen this one a couple of times, but it my favorite of my daughter even with the harsh flash and some other technical faux pas.

Fred that's a slow shutter speed for this lens, you must have used a tripod but it looks candid. Or maybe you're just that good
