A while back, Mr Tan posted some awesome birds in flight taken at a workshop offered by Ray Barlow. As these workshops are offered an hour from home I signed up. Now, I went into this knowing I was somewhat equipment challenged with a 7D and only my trusty 100-400! Sure enough I brought a knife to a gun fight being surrounded by the latest greatest camera bodies and fast lenses. Still I was determined to get the best with what I had. The location offers magnificent birds and reasonable backgrounds.
