OWC Mercury Elite AL Pro Qx2 RAID 0/1/5 Box

Sold

Price: $175.00
Payment method: PayPal
Item condition: 10 Preowned equipment, but appears as new

No drives.

This RAID box does RAID 0/1/5 or JBOD and interfaces via USB2, Firewire 400/800, or eSATA. It takes 4 3.5" HDDs and will accept up to 3TB drives for a total of 12TB of storage.

It's performed very well for me since I bought it, but with the move to the Retina MacBook Pro, using it via Firewire just isn't convenient anymore. I'm going to replace it with something USB 3.0 or Thunderbolt compatible.

This box does the RAID internally (it's set using a dial on the box) so it presents a single drive to the computer.

Comes in the box with the manual, FW400 cable, FW800 cable, USB2 cable and eSATA cable. It also comes with the OWC software bundle disk.

This retails for $279 on OWC's site right now:

Looking for $175 shipped/paypal'd to the CONUS.
