i am wanting to buy the Rolleiflex 6008i, am I nuts?
No, you are not nuts! It is a great camera. I started with a
Hasselblad by accident. Some two years later, I found out
about the Rolleiflex 6008i Even though i haven't owned it,
I have found amazing comments for it! One downside is,
that if it goes "kaputt", it is perhaps much more recommen-
dable to send it to Germany for repair. The market in the
USA is somewhat reduced, compared to Hasselblads. I
didn't hear of good repair options there. The
camera has a great metering system that can allow you to
work not only on location, but also when you do "documen-
tary work" of whatever. It offers or offered lenses for "three
types" of budget, being the Schneider ones the most
expensive. It is compatible with some digital backs.
Kind regards,
