p.1 #1 · My D700 firmware is on 1.00

Ok, so I bought my D700 from a local guy who took really good care of his stuff, and didn't really use the camera that much. When I went to go check the firmware, it shows A 1.00 and B 1.00 - so I am assuming the firmware has never been upgraded.

My question is if I upgrade the firmware from 1.00 to 1.03, will I automagically get 1.01 and 1.02? or do I need to go in order.. ie; 1.01, 1.02 and then 1.03? Never had to do a firmware upgrade on a camera (had a 1Ds lol)

You should be able to go from 1.00 to 1.03 without going through the other updates.

I wasnt sure, lol. Oh well, 1.02 is now done

Updates are normally cumulative.

Whatever, the end result will be the same and if it gives you peace of mind, so much the better (and it didn't take all that much longer).
