Keep in mind that Pro Level Strobe Ring Lights are much more bulky and heavier to deal with not to mention 10X more costly. So this looks like a fair trade off.

Sorry, to revive this older thread, but does anyone else have some more photos to post? I have been eyeing this piece of equipment for a while now and need some more convincing!

I'll take some side-by-side shots of my head mannequin tonight or tomorrow, comparing the Roundflash, RPS Studio BeautiDish, Westcott Apollo soft box, and straight flash. The semi-scientific test shots may help you decide one way or the other.

I had said I'd do that, but just forgot about it.
