Would you mind telling me that you did to get yours to 5ghz?
I'm at 4.5 and in low 40's under load. Reckon I can get better, just don't know how!

From what I recall, 5.0 is pretty reasonable with liquid cooling. My 2500K runs fine at 4.5 with just a CM212+ air cooler.

sorry... yes, what brett said. I also have the H60 pump running a little quicker when needed. My case is optimized for lower temps too. So far so good after 12 months!

I used to do water cooling, back when it was a pain in the ass. I haven't tried the enclosed systems. Are you noticing temp rises over time?

On load at 4.5 it would max at about 79 on air with Prime95. Extended runs of prime 95 now get it to hover round 59. Saw it go to 61 once, I stay in the 40's doing work, LR sessions etc. Again I have worked on making the airflow good - well as best as I can. It was extremely easy to fit.

I just leave the cooling set to max as the general noise from the box doesn't really bother me. Did that help?

So, I assume you're saying it's held consistency? I was really interested in knowing if you feel it gums up, but you wouldn't know that with rising temps or taking it apart. Did you ever do traditional WCing previously?

I have not seen any rise so far but I have only had it in for a couple of weeks now. Traditionally one would expect the performance to improve over the next few weeks to greater/lesser extent depending on the makeup of the thermal past.

No never, seemed like a lot of hassle but I have been desperate to get LR working better I will try any kind of loopy OC to get more performance. the H100 seemed like a realistic way to hold 4.8. I can do it in Windows but I havent figured out how to get speedstep working properly on the hack so I am stuck at 4.5 for now.
