As big as it was, Hurricane Sandy didn't have too much of an impact on us here in Maine, mostly downed trees and power outages. These were taken Tuesday at Portland Headlight, after the wind had died down overnight.

I like #1 quite a bit. I want to like #3 more, but the water is too bright. How about using a layer mask and bringing down the exposure a bit more in the water layer?

David, I've seen bigger waves, but none that went as far up the lighthouse.

Jim, I lowered the exposure on the water and raised the brightness a bit on the entire image. I think it works better.

I definitely like number 1. What lens focal length did you use? I like the turbulence in 3 too

I'm loving #3. I don't find the water too bright.

The sky in the others is really plain/uniform, I'd sacrifice it and crop tighter on the lighthouse.
