Love these, Birdie. Very pleasing images, as usual from you.
My only small nit would be a little less crop on the bottom of image #1...I feel like a want a little more foreground, perhaps. Beautiful light on that one.

#1 Birdie, you have nice natural balance here on the light, very relaxed and easy to view, I like this feel here.
#2 great use of contrasting colors, neat limited DOF shot, sharp where it needed to be
#3 dang you're good!
#4 might be inclined to crop tighter eliminating the top flower on this one?
#5 the light is haunting, and I like it Sometimes the use of flash gives unexpected results, this is pretty unique on the light here, nice one, very nice

Great work as always Birdie. I love the lighting on the head and mouth of the first shot. Beautifully done. The angle of 2 & 5 is excellent, right on the center line. I always enjoy your work.

Dauphin Island really is a neat place and in a lot of ways it reminds me of home. You got some nice shots here. I think my favorite is of the Laughing Gull flying right at you, nice symmetry at work here! It’s also tough not to like a shot of a Gulf Fritillary.
