p.1 #1 · A few Conowingo Eagle Shots (21 and 28 Oct 2012)
Hi all,
I made it up to Conowingo for the second time this season. I'm a bit rusty and still have yet to fine-tune my autofocus, but had a blast and that's the point right Here are a few photos shot with my 400mm f/2.8 with 1.4 and 2.0 teleconverters on a Nikon D4.

Great shots and thanks for showing. I will be there for Thanksgiving! can't wait.
Is it better to shoot in early AM or PM? or what is the best time to catch the hunting/fishing?

Thanks. I will defer to some of the other people on this board that are much more knowledgeable than I regarding when to shoot and when the Eagles are active. Early morning and whenever the flood gates are open are good times to be there. I don't follow the charts for estimates of when the gates will be open, I just try to get there when I can. It's pretty amazing!!
