I've been toying around with a new workflow and I was looking through some old images and found this one that just needed to be processed:

Some good texture here, but I am not getting a "story" from this.

a good image to process, which looks good. the white rocks are a little distracting; you might think about toning them down so the wood is the main attraction.

Dave, I think it's cool but it never hurts to listen to Douglas and Tom.

To make the wood the main subject is very good advise.

It's funny that you called them out specifically. I actually punched their brightness up a little bit in the original processing, but I do see what you mean. I've tried tamping them down a bit and it does improve the shot. Thanks for the feedback.
