It's been a while since I've been out to my local cypress swamp. Went out last Sunday mid-morning. The overcast was breaking up and it let in some bright hazy light to highlight the cypress in fall regalia.
Just a few of my faves from the morning. The water was low and I was able to get out into the muck, with the help of some good rubber boots, which opened up some different sight lines for me.
Thanks for looking and please, any c&c is welcome.

An open area let a nice stand of wildflowers shine
These are super. The trees themselves are unique but you've really given great context with the swamp water and fall foliage. What an amazing spot that is. Not too many mosqitoes I hope!
Very nice Barry, great to see this location again...can you believe its been over a year now!
Really like #1 and 4 in this series - great stuff!
cheers Andrew
Love the intimacy of #4 ...and I like #1 and #2 but would love to see it in some late afternoon or early morning light.
Quite unique for fall shots! Dave
Thanks so much everyone. Wish I had been there earlier in the day, but the hazy light did some nice things, especially with the back lit scenes.
Glad you're still enjoying 'my' cypress swamp.
