I have looked at so many stunning images people post up here and have been inspired! Been posting on and off in the Landscape forum but have started collecting more wildlife images. I need more training for birds in flight! But anyway went with Michael Francis Photography to Alaska coastal bears this past September and just now looking at my first day’s images. Now I need to get cracking on the rest of the days. Here is a couple to share.
* Plus 1 new one added bear eating grass*.

Very cool to see the setting in #1.
I'm sure you have a ton of images to process... this first one is excellent, wonderful composition, very well done.
Already looking forward to seeing more of your work with these beautiful bears.
Great image, Patrick. Love the comp and eye contact.
Your landscape eyes will serve you very well with wildlife.
Same rules plus give the animals some room in the direction they walk or look at.
And rules are mend to be broken.

A couple of really nice images. The first is a bit ironic. Cammo on the camera. Bright red on the photographer. Blend in and advertise at the same time. I guess the gear at least gains some weather protection.
Thanks all for the kind words. Interesting that the first one has comment that you like the setup and can see the animals in the setting and not just zoomed in. I will remember that for future trips. I believe I have more like that but time takes me away from viewing the images. I’m impressed with the LensCoat rain cover. It is mounted over the new Canon 500 f4 II – 1Dmk4 combo with RRS gimbal on RRS tripod (wife’s) but we are not advertising .
