A mating beetle:
Females will briefly call by rasping their wings together with their elytra. They wait a moment and then shuffle off as the male responds in turn and follows. This can go on for some minutes before they get down to business.

Mossy stick insect:
Ecuador cloudforests are especially well stocked with this and other moss insects and animals using moss as their model of camouflage.

Skipper with proboscis out was just displaying coprophagia:

Harvestman under 365nm UV light:
Around 400nm and you start getting purple light casting, below and you can be relatively free of that.
