How does it sit alongside the rest of the series? I voted B&W, as although the colours a decent, I don't feel they really bring much to the image. As I think much of your best work is in B&W, perhaps this would fit in well with them. But if the rest of this "section" is predominately colour then that would be a reason to keep it colour. Just my backwards thinking as usual ;-)

I think you could be setting yourself up for a lot of extra work after (in some form). As Tony's mentioned before, he doesn't generally like this...

Where does the extra work come into play? Right click, virtual copy, make that one black and white... I'm not saying I do that for every photo, but when it looks great both ways I think the client appreciates the option.

If i were giving a disc i would do a color and black and white copy of everything.

guess i'm gonna be the odd man out and say color.

honesty, they're both really good. i shoot a lot of, and love, black and white, but i feel the color in this instance lets you feel more of the context of the shot. the black and white is all about the bride, which is cool, but the color is also about the girls, the flowers and the grass.

what do you want the shot to be about?

She blends in with the grass behind, so unless you can tweak the bw toning, I prefer color.

Well that was pretty easy. I was leaning towards the bw and you guys have convinced me. I may darken the greens a touch, as Spencer suggested, but I prefer the bw. As for the colour, I take your point goose, but for me the expression is powerful enough to want to make that the sole focus.
