p.1 #1 · Anyone use these batteries?

I have a Canon 5D Mark ii and was looking to buy some extra batteries when I came across some cheaper generic ones on ebay. To me a battery is a battery, but then I thought I should get some feedback on them first. Has anyone used one of these or know of someone who has?

google search "sterlingtek", I believe thats the name of the website. That usually gets all the recommendations for 3rd party batteries. I believe they have an ebay store as well.

I have read that Panasonic has included circuitry in their batteries to prevent the use of third party batteries. Hence, the term "decoded" in reference to batteries designed to bypass this protection. But I'm not aware that Canon does the same thing, so why is this a "decoded" battery for a Canon camera.
