p.1 #1 · Color Check Please

Hi all...
I finally decided to get calibrated. I'm not great with judging color to begin with, but can anyone tell me if this looks okay?
Many thanks

Skin looks a little orange on my screen, especially in the shadows around the collarbone. YMMV. Pretty young lady.

Many thanks...
I am so used to looking at a "brilliant" Imac display, it is hard to get used to the calibrated one.

Looks good here. I do see that orangeness on the neck that was mentioned.

What do you use to post process? This is a lovely photo, but there are a few tweaks that I would make. I'd use NIK's Viveza to accomplish it. The nice thing about all their products is that you can set control points and make small adjustments without having to do a lot of masks.

Here's what I'd do on this image. I'd set a couple of control points on the right hand and arm and bring them down just a little. I'd set a control point on the neck where some of us see a hint of orange and desaturate it slightly. While I think too many over whiten teeth, I'd whiten them slightly. I don't think I'd make them brighter, just either add a little blue or desaturate. It's easy to do with NIK. I'd also slightly soften the areas under her eyes. This I'd probably do in Photoshop, although NIK's Color Efex Pro has a dynamic skin softener that works great.

When I make changes like this, I often think I barely made a change, until I toggle back and forth between unchanged and changed. Then I see how much just a few adjustments can make a difference.
