I use PC with Photoshop for my photo work. I just bought a MAC AIR for the lightness for travel photography. Adobe says I cannt have a license for Mac and Pc, and if I upgrade my Photoshop to the Mac, I will deactivate ALL my pc licenses. What do you suggest to download photos to my Mac while on safari, which I can later develop on my pc with Photoshop?

You might look at Photoshop Elements for your Mac Air if your intent is to edit while on safari. It's cheap.

I do not want to edit while on safari. I just want to cull obvious throw aways and place some in folders for home editing.

You can do that in Elements. Download to Elements Bridge and set up you folders.

The other option, if the Mac Air is so equipped, is to use iPhoto.

You don't even need iPhoto (or Elements). OS X's Preview program will do what you want. If you highlight a bunch of files (a folder, for example), Preview will open them all and you can scroll through them with your arrow keys. Works with RAW or JPG, and you can delete with a right-click.

There is a 30-day trial available, and if you buy, the serial is cross-platform. So, you can use LR on your Mac and PC.
