When I meet people to photograph, I ask them to NOT "say cheese", as I try to get a more insightful gesture. Often, unsuccessfully. Jackie controlled the conversation, waxing poetic about movie personalities, posing, and airbrushing. She abhorred all of my images of her except this one. Oh well...

Nice ... not sure I would have chopped off her left ear though

Thanks for looking and commenting. I am a fan of atypical crops, but I certainly see your point.

Two things stick out to me. One is how white her teeth are, the other is how big her irises are in her eyes. I think the crop is a little tight and the BW conversion could be a little better.(less gray, more black and white)

My favorite way to process in NIK Silver Efex Pro II is often too harsh for women with decent, but not perfect, skin. So I obtained Portrait Professional, which can give a too perfect, glamor type look. I have found that It must be applied before NIK, so there is a lot of trial and error. Mostly, error. I think that the too white teeth and large eyes means that I have to dial the effect back a bit.

Thank you for looking and commenting.

Nice sharp image you have, the one thing that sticks out right away are the bright white teeth as mentioned. I realize its a B&W image but you must have done some additional editing there. Am I correct to assume this? At any rate this is a very nice image though.

Her nose looks like it's plastic on my monitor Bob.

Thank you, Mosabi and Doug. I think that all of these shortcomings are due to my misuse of Portrait Professional.

Those teeth should be in a commercial. I like the rest of the bw though.

Like, but the teeth are a bit shocking.
