I am a bit concerned. These do not look very sharp on my monitor. Now i'm wondering, do I invest in a new D600 or a new monitor or is it operator error?

Considering, I just started photography in April....I thought these looked pretty good. I am just looking for CC on what I can improve to make these look better. But, I figured they were already sharp.
No. 2 rocks. The eyes are really cool. Print this one big!
No. 1 and 3 could be improved, I think, by getting the kiddie to look into the camera. I don't think the subject always has to look into the camera, but I think we need that connection in 1 and 3.

Thank you I am definately going to print #2 out very large. His eyes are beautiful! Thanks for the tips on 1 and 3.
